The Wollemi Pine is full of historical value and interest. The most common way to describe this plant is to say ” The discovery of the Wollemi Pine is equivalent to finding a small dinosaur still alive on Earth”.<\/p>\n

As you can imagine a Wollemi Pine is classed as something special. It was growing millions of years ago and regarded as extinct……\u00a0 \u00a0Until 1997 when in a small pocket of the Blue Mountains, NSW Australia, some were discovered!!!<\/span><\/p>\n

I find its growth cycle amazing and hope to showcase some of its special features that I have the opportunity to see.<\/p>\n
